Regina (Blanchard) Poole is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School. During the spring semester of 1989, Regina transferred to Tuskegee University from The Ohio State University where she double majored in Biology Pre-Med and African American Literature.

Her professional career began at Cincinnati State in the college of Health as the Manager of the Health Excel Summer Program. This program was designed to give high school students exposure to college, leadership training, and students were paid for their participation. She transitioned to a job with Procter & Gamble where she served in a capacity of roles. She worked in the Customer Service Division of Beauty Care, as well as, Executive Assistant to the Vice President. Throughout the years at Proctor and Gamble, her primary responsibilities were to address consumer questions and comments regarding beauty care products and train employees for both the internet and SWEP. While serving as an Executive Administrator, Regina also joined the Board of Directors for Big Brother/Big Sisters and became a Trainer/Mentor with Junior Achievement of Cincinnati. Regina maintained her ties to Cincinnati State by participating in tutoring programs and assisting with community events.

In 2000, Regina began to work at Children’s Hospital, an assignment that would eventually lead her back to college. In 2002, Regina returned to college to study Ultrasound Technology at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. In 2004, Regina received her degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Cardiovascular.

Currently, Regina works full time at Cincinnati State in the Office of Admission as an Admissions Recruiter and Representative to the Health Division of the college. Her passion is to inspire and encourage women to walk in their purpose and fulfill their destiny. Regina is active in theatre and is an Actress/Dancer/Drama Instructor for The Cincinnati Black Theatre Company where she has starred in over 8 productions. To her credit, Regina had the pleasure of Directing “The Lion King” a Disney adaptation. In 2015, Regina joined Black Career Women’s Network as the Director of Events.

Regina currently resides in West Chester, Ohio with her husband of 17 years, Terrence Poole, Sr. and their 3 children.
